Oval face

I got to do another face. The owner of said face is Jamie Crane. She let me come into her home and spread my makeup and samples and brushes all over her table and sat very still for me while 15 kids ran amuck through her house. Ok, so she doesn't have 15. She has 6. Plus two of mine were there. Plus they had some friends over. So basically the same thing. Let's move on.
Here is her before-

I forgot to bring my REAL camera so this is just with my cell phone. :(

She has an oval face and her eyes are almond shaped which made everything so easy. I still love the Too-Faced primer but don't like the way it smells. I can only smell it while I'm applying it so at least you can't smell it on your face all day. I decided I need to start bringing eyebrow pencils but she has great shaped brows.

Here is her beautiful after!

Again, I am having issues posting pictures. Can't figure out why it won't let me add a caption or change the size.

She looks wonderful and her husband couldn't wait to take her out on a date after getting all dolled up, especially since they rarely get the opportunity having 15 kids and all.  He told me so himself. In not so many words...

Thanks Jamie for letting me try this on you. :)

Round eyes

I was FINALLY able to get my hands on someone's face. I was so excited to start, I forgot to take any before pictures. I was so happy when she asked if I was planning on doing so while I was slapping some powder on for guidelines and eyeshadow catchers. I thought I wiped it all off, but it showed up with the flash. Anyhoo- Here are the before:

She's super sad that her face is naked. She's usually a little more modest, but if my face looked this good naked, I'd probably leave it exposed more often. Just sayin.

I love this girl. You can't NOT smile when you are around her.

Alright, so before pictures are taken. Crackers are out for the kids. Eyeshadows are flying, blush brush goin crazy, getting a little carried away with the bronzer but no worries, it was fixed. Jennifer was very patient with me. Finally I got through all the products I had available to use with her. I think it all turned out beautifully.

Alright, I can't figure out how to make the pictures big like the first two or why it won't let me add a caption anymore. So here's the first one where she's laughing. She looks a little tired. She has 3 little ones so who wouldn't be? Notice the dath grip on her collar? That's her sweet baby girl.

I was hoping you could see the colors a bit more in this photo. She has very round pretty eyes so I tried to keep the accent color on the outer corners to elongate them just a bit.

Here is the last picture.  She looks great. I learned I'm not a fan of the elf HD powder or I just don't know how to use it properly as I think it made her slightly washed out, but the flash from the camera contributed to that as well.

Thanks again Jennifer for taking the time to let me try this with you!

First attempt...on self.

I have spent nearly $200.00 on makeup so far and have so very little to show for it. I would love to know what your favorite products are and why. Particularly eyeliner, lip products of any kind, and brow liner.  Today I made up my WHOLE face so I could test out my new foundation palette by Graftobian and the face primer by Too-faced. I loved them both. My foundation stayed on and in place all day. I got a little crease line between my eyebrows after returning from a 2 hour visit at the park but I slid my finger over it and it smoothed right back into place. The Mary Kay eye primer and eye-shadows actually worked GREAT as well. Not loving the MK eyeliner or cheek colors though.
Mary Kay: eye primer, eyeshadows, eyeliner, mascara, blush, bronzer, concealer and highlighting pen. elf: HD powder and lip gloss. Graftobian: foundation.

By the way, this picture is not the $200 worth of product that I've spent my money on.  It's just what I used today. To take the kids to the park. Since that's all I had going on today. Lately I've just been using mineral powder, one or two eye-shadows, blush, and mascara. MAYBE eyeliner if I feel like I have time. Because really, when you are at home all day with three wonderful little kids 5 years old and under, impressing the sales guy with a bottle of magic cleaning spray is not my M.O.  Although it's nice to have at least SOME makeup on so your son's kindergartener friend doesn't see you through the car window upon drop off and ask if their mom is sick. I had no makeup on that day. and allergies!

Wow, back to topic here. I took some pictures of myself. Please don't laugh too hard. Haven't had a chance to try the new foundation palette on anyone else yet.

I think I may be flaring my nostrils in concentration. Not sure what I was pretending to look at.
receding hairline much? I mean, here's the eyeshadow kind of.
No I do NOT want to buy spray cleaner to clean rust and everything else, OR a vacuum, OR lawn treatments! Actually ya, I want that. Do I look ticked off to you here?

Oh and this? I was trying to half close my eyes but still get a front shot without flash in the mirror. Totally didn't work. Whatevs.

Alright, So this was a fun experimental day to test out a few things I had never used before. If you are still reading at this point, PLEASE suggest your favorite products so I can experiment some more. Hopefully on others next time.

Stay beautiful!

just kidding. I kind of hate it when people end like that. I always tell them to shut up. Not to their face of course. That would be rude.

The first 5 volunteers will be absolutely free so I can get used to matching the new foundations and get some pictures on here. After that it will be $15.00 a face for a few months just to cover the price of my product and give me a chance to get a feel for it. If you know anyone who has a special event coming up or school dance that they would like to have their makeup done for (when school starts again), please send them my way! :)

I am so excited to start something new that is my own. I would love to eventually take a makeup artistry class, but it's over $2000 so in the meantime, I would love to try some things out on your face that I've already learned. I am opened to suggestions and tips as well. I can't wait to start getting pictures on here. If you are interested in being a model for me on my blog, please let me know! :)
